It seems that the attraction to waves and the water’s edge
must somehow be embedded in our genetic code.
They beckon to us, calling.
Their effects on our spirit are universal.

Those waves imprint their magic on us from the earliest stages of our formative years. All you need do is watch the sheer, unadulterated joy of toddlers and little kids when they splash and run and squeal with delight as the waves swirl around their feet.
The Call of the Waves, a children's book from Tiderunner Publishing and a trio of Amelia Island creative notables, celebrates those themes.
